Reverend Lawrence C. Shuford Jr.

Pastor Lawrence Charles Shuford, Jr. was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA by his proud parents, Lawrence Sr. and Theresa Shuford. 

Lawrence was reared under the leadership of Pastor James S. Hall at the Triumph Baptist Church, where he was baptized and discipled. He was very active in the church and participated in various ministries including, Sunbeam, Youth & Young Adult Choir, Usher Board, Jr. Deacon Board and Bible teaching courses. He continued to be active in these ministries until his departure in 2005 for Buffalo, NY to begin his undergraduate studies. While there, he was trained and licensed as a minister of the Gospel by Bishop Troy Bronner of Elim Christian Fellowship. Since moving back to Philadelphia, Lawrence became a founding member and served as the Assistant Pastor at The Kingdom Life Church under the leadership of Pastor Daniel E. Sutton. Lawrence has returned to the Elim Christian Fellowship to serve as an Associate Elder helping the Millennial and Young Adult Department. 

Last but importantly, Lawrence is the blessed husband of Ebony Shuford, and proud father of Leila Corrin Shuford and Lawrence Shuford III. Lawrence is truly a product of village raising. God has afforded him the opportunity to be raised and taught by both immediate and extended family. Whatever success he has, and will achieve, he owes it all to those who invested their time, money, and wisdom in him.
